VNC Connection to Apple Mac OSX

Sometimes the fastest way to connect remotely to a Apple Mac OSX computer is to use VNC.
I’ve tried many other remote clients, the easiest and free one remains VNC.

On your Mac, click the Apple logo in the top left corner of the screen and select System Preferences. Click Sharing and then make sure that Screen Sharing is ticked.

Tips :

– set up a complex (upper and lower case) password to be sure to have no problems if using UltraVNC client
– you can only set “Millions” of colors, not 256 colors or similar
– use RAW connection mode
– set FullScreen

When your setting is complete, from the VNC client you can click “save connection info as…” to keep a fast .vnc link to your Mac.
